  12. he has never shown me his worst side because he is afraid of losing me but I still get very aggravated by our arguments which happen every week now for months. Although his rude comments and how he ignores me and my calls are what starts the arguments sometimes. I sometimes start the arguments too although not really intentionally. I can just be aggravating at times when I get moody. But I honestly know that this is the only main thing that is currently bothering me, because I cannot picture myself at all marrying someone who disrespects me, even if it is a little argument no matter who started it. Just recently he would not even apologize for doing something wrong after I myself apologized ( he is so stubborn too.) I feel as if these arguments will push me away. and also the fact that I am still working on my trust with him because he admitted to me in our 4th month of dating that he had cheated on me with his ex-girlfriend. we have a long-distance relationship because I am in school right now and he did it during the months when I was away. Around that time before he admitted it to me I kept finding little clues from him and even when I asked him that he still had ties with her (such as she was on his cellphone plan). He did not want me to know because he knew I would not give him a chance dating him or that I would break up with him. (Sometimes I feel as if I should have broken up with him then.) I really truly do love him though, but I’m not sure if we should be friends or try to stay together. I believe I am the one who can’t deal with the arguing, because he says he doesn’t pay it too much mind.-however I’m sure it gets aggravating to him too. (i feel as if this might persist if we stay together or get worse) Should I stay or go. If I should stay. how can I fix it.sn:we also spend a lot of time together whether on the phone or in person idk if that may be a small or big factor

  13. Krista,it’s time to take a good look in the mirror and decide what you want and you need in order for you to be happy. You say you have a great man who treats you well and is there for you (but b/c he’s out trying to make a living and be a better man that’s not good enough for you)let me ask you this question…you date a man who is making $100K and he loses his job or has some kind of disease (such as cancer)what are you gonna do then….walk away? Cheat on him w/a man who makes 6 figures?I totally get that you want a certain level of lifestyle, but if you think a certain level of lifestyle will bring you the happiness and fulfillment you’d still be w/those “douchebags”I suggest you get crystal clear on what you want & need from the man you want to be in a relationship with.Look, if you’re looking for guarantees in life there are none! That’s what makes love so great. However, I can guarantee that if you settle or compromise on ANY of the things you need from a man and relationship you will never have the truly happy and fulfilling relationship you desire…and deserve!Good Luck!Much Love, joe

  14. Pi is the boy’s name and it has nothing to do with the mathematical pi. Although there may have been a small discussion about the correlation in the book, it is not hugely relevant. Pi is short for his full name, Piscine Molitor Patel (he is named after a swimming pool). He changes it to Pi when he begins secondary school, because he is tired of being taunted with the nickname, “Pissing Patel” (“Piscine” sounds like “Pissing”).I have not been paying much attention to hype these days and I was surprised to see that it was even being made into a movie. A friend of mine recommended and lent the book to me when I was between books earlier this year or last year. I did love it a lot and it won a famous prize for fiction, The Man Booker Prize, so I’m not totally surprised, I guess, that others could have liked it as much as I did. Its super imaginative and lush and I can see how it would translate easily into a visually rich modern movie.
